STAR guarantees that everything possible is recycled.

After shredding, documents are baled and transported directly to paper mills for recycling into paper products. Reusable metal items such as paper clips and bulldog clips are removed and packaged for reuse. Plastics are recycled.

Electronic waste (e-waste), including obsolete computers, is dismantled, de-manufactured and sorted into specific waste streams for plastics and various metals for processing into component materials for re-use.

Magnetic storage mediums, such as CD’s, microfiche, microfilm, X-Rays, and audio and videotapes, can also be securely destroyed in an environmentally responsible process.
